If Mintzberg were American, rather than Canadian, he would be as well known as Tom Peters and Peter Senge. He has written two groundbreaking books about strategy, Strategy Safari and The Rise and Fall of Strategic Planning, and numerous books and articles about management. Mintzberg’s focus over the last decade has been designing and running a master’s program for practicing managers that aims to provide a powerful alternative to the MBA approach.
